April Sawyer is a writer, Bible teacher, and occupational therapist passionate about helping women encounter God’s kindness in the midst of their everyday stories. With a blend of theology, humor, and vulnerability, she explores what it means to be fully known and fully loved by God. She is the author of the Read + Repeat Bible study series; a growing collection of resources designed to help women engage Scripture deeply and build intentional community. In addition to her own blog, April contributes to Southeastern Seminary’s Faith & Culture blog and serves as the communications lead for CBA Women, a network of women’s ministry leaders across the Charleston, SC area committed to encouraging, empowering, and equipping women. At her home church, April delights in discipling women and cultivating spaces for spiritual growth and honest conversation. She lives in Summerville, South Carolina, with her husband, their two kids, and a very needy but lovable dog named Lady. She’s currently working on her first book, Exiled Together, which explores friendship, community, and gospel hope through the lens of redemptive relationships.
