You Don’t Have to be Perfect to be Used by God

For a long time, I thought being a “good Christian girl” meant being quiet, polished, and practically perfect.

But I’ve come to realize God never called us to perfection, He calls us to purpose.

I’ve always loved Jesus, but like many of us, I’ve gone through seasons where faith felt distant.

Life got busy with school, sports, and passion projects. Still, through it all, God was there; patiently inviting me back, reminding me who I am and who He created me to be.

When I was 15, I gave my life back to Christ.

That moment was full of clarity and peace, not because I had it all figured out, but because I finally realized I didn’t have to.

Jesus met me with grace, not expectations. From there, everything started shifting in the best way.

God didn’t just restore my faith. He gave me a renewed sense of purpose.

I’d always been entrepreneurial; selling snacks at school, designing stickers, even sewing masks during COVID.

But suddenly, I had a reason to build something beyond myself. Something that pointed people to Him.

That’s how Make Heaven Crowded was born.

It’s a Christian clothing brand made to inspire bold faith and gentle courage.

Every hoodie, hat, or Bible cover is a little reminder that we’re here for more. We’re here to live for something eternal.

And the truth is, I still don’t have it all together, and that’s okay. Because God doesn’t wait for us to be perfect before He invites us into His plan. He simply asks for our yes.

“Then He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation.’” – Mark 16:15 (HCSB)

This verse reminds me that faith isn’t about waiting until you feel ready. It’s about going boldly, joyfully, and authentically with the gifts God has already placed in your hands.

So if you’ve ever felt like you’re too young, too messy, or not “Christian enough” hear this: You are deeply loved, incredibly valuable, and already equipped.

Your story matters. Your voice matters. And God can do amazing things through your yes.

You don’t have to be perfect to be powerful in the Kingdom. Just be willing and watch what He can do.
