The Christmas That We Adore

ByLiana Howarth December 21, 2023December 2, 2023

Oh! Longing for Christmas

This time of year

When tinsel winds around our hearts

Bringing much hope and cheer

And friends and family gather round

Memories to lovingly restore

Yes, this is the Christmas

This is the Christmas

This is the Christmas that we adore

And red, and green and gold

Silver and sparkling blue

Can you just imagine

That love was born for you

Love that knows no limit

Love that will never leave

Love piercing all darkness

Free to all who believe

Christmas oh! Christmas

Your song rings out eternally

Sound your melody throughout our hearts

Raise triumphant, truth never depart

We who love You, Lord, do praise

And lift You high each celebration day

Oh! Longing for Christmas

This time of year

When tinsel winds around our hearts

Bringing much hope and cheer

And friends and family gather round

Memories to lovingly restore

Yes, this is the Christmas

This is the Christmas

This is the Christmas that we adore
