“Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing. Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God.”
Psalm 146:3-5 niv
“Long Live the Queen!” said all of the people in England. But she could not live forever and eventually passed away.
It’s devastating to lose someone you dearly love or even admire from afar.
When Queen Elizabeth II died, the world mourned.
People lined up, waiting in lines that were miles long, just to see her coffin and say goodbye to their beloved ruler. They were heartbroken. It truly was the end of an era.
We want those we love to live forever but we are all human. Living in a sin-filled world means we all have an expiration date.
The good news is that there is a Royal who will live forever. God is the Eternal King who cannot be defeated nor destroyed. His reign is infinite!
God created Heaven and Earth.
He pays close attention to our daily living and He cares about all the details of our lives. He’s in it for the long haul with us. We can trust Him through the good, the bad and the ugly.
There’s more good news: God has good plans for your life (Jeremiah 29:11) and He loves you. In fact, He thinks you are worth dying for (John 3:16).
God’s love for you endures forever. He’s the only One who will never fail you. He’s the only Royal who wants a close, personal relationship with you and has done everything in His Power to make it possible.
You don’t have to wait in a long line nor do you have to go through security clearance to meet with the King of the Universe.
He is easily accessible through His Son, Jesus Christ. We are to pray in Jesus’s name because He is our bridge from Earth to Heaven.
Through His sacrifice we are reconciled to God and have the hope of living forever in immortal bodies.

Remember: God is King of more than one country; He rules the entire universe. When you accept Jesus into your heart and live for Him, then you are adopted into His royal family. You’ll join people from every nation, of every kindred, tribe, and tongue.
This is your invitation to accept Christ’s free gift of salvation and take your place in God’s Royal Family. He is waiting for you with open arms.

Beautifully said! So comforting to know we have a King who understands.
